Support for cultural and sporting activities
As a corporate group that supports social infrastructure and the foundations of everyday life, we offer support to cultural and sports organizations and carry out a variety of social contribution activities with the aim of achieving sustainable growth and problem solving for local communities and society.
Partnership contracts with two professional basketball teams: Kyoto Hannaryz and Shiga Lakestars
In July 2023, we signed partnership contracts with Kyoto Hannaryz and Shiga Lakestars, professional basketball teams based in Kyoto and Shiga prefectures respectively. By supporting the two teams with their community-based activities in their prefectures, we aim to contribute to those local communities.
Sponsorship contract with professional golfer Ayaka Furue
In February 2023, we signed a sponsorship agreement with an athlete who is continuing to make rapid progress in the global golfing field, Ayaka Furue. Through these activities, we will support the spread of golf-a lifelong sport-and the player development.
Support for Kyoto Sanga F.C.
With the aim of using football to give back to communities and to help develop sporting culture, since 2011 we have been an official sponsor of Kyoto Sanga F.C., a J-League club based in Kyoto Prefecture. As well as putting put boards at their stadium, we have been running activities such as the parent-and-child football school.
Support for Mitsubishi Sagamihara DynaBoars
Through rugby, a sport that emphasizes the importance of fair play, we hope to give young people a sound education and spread sports culture to people of all ages. To this end, with the aim of working as a team to gain victory, we are supporting Mitsubishi Sagamihara DynaBoars.
Support for the Kyoto Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra
We have been supporting the Kyoto Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, based in the city of Kyoto, since 2015. The orchestral group endeavors to provide music to people regardless of generation, and to spread, develop, and improve music culture. By giving them our support, we help them with their cultural and artistic activities.
Our contribution to educating the next generation
We support efforts that help to foster the next generation of engineers who will be carrying forward Japanese manufacturing and efforts to revitalize the manufacturing industry and culture.
Support for Scramble, Next Generation Robotics Engineer Support Organization
In 2023, we signed a partnership contract with Scramble, Next Generation Robotics Engineer Support Organization. By supporting the organization in its aim to foster engineers who can drive Japan forward in the future, we are helping to bring about a more sustainable society.
